Thrifty Finds
Today was an adventure with the little one after popping into the library to pick up my reserves. We went to Value Village and a couple things leaped into the shopping cart. What was I to do but bring them home.
Quick, easy, convenient. Stir frys, curries, soup and casseroles recipes are my holy grail, as well as anything that freezes well in small portions.
Where do I like to treasure hunt?
Kitchener, ON is a great place for thrifting.
My favourite is the Talize. It is a new-ish store that has excellent layout and good turn around. Everyday something is on Sale for 50% off. I also rotate between the Value Village on Ottawa and in Spotswood. I have tried other smaller places, but find the selection not extensive enough for a good rummage.
During the summer I hop out every Saturday morning for Yard Sale-ing around town.
